We wanted to update you on Lynee's father. His heart valve replacement surgery on Thursday went well. It took less than 3 hours using the new procedure and recently approved valve. The incision in his chest is 4 inches long, which is smaller than what many with heart surgery have. We first talked to him on Friday morning. Today (Saturday), he was moved out of ICU! He's able to sit up for a few hours a day and eat a little food.
Lynee leaves tomorrow to help with his recovery until Jan 28. Please keep praying for a good recovery and praise the Lord with us that everything has gone so well thus far!
